Trying to go green and doing my part to recycle is easier said than done. Organic gardening compost takes time and effort to make. Plus it can really smell if you don’t have a large yard area. The one thing I found is to make sure that the stuff you are adding is actually organic. That doesn’t include plastic wrap or soda cans. The other thing I do is if I am starting a new compost pile in a small yard area is get some potting soil from Home Depot and cover the scraps to cut down on the smell and also I go get a couple of containers of fishing worms at Walmart. This speeds up the process.
