If you are looking for a good paying job that does not require that you have a Phd, consider looking into the medical profession. You can complete both nursing and lab technician programs in two years! Often times students take paid positions in hospitals, doctors office or clinics while they are completing their programs so that they can hit the ground running once their schooling is complete. So, you can earn while you learn! Lots of schools offer online courses, and if you have to physically attend classes, some schools even offer night and weekend classes to work around Monday through Friday 9-5 work schedule.
