Recently I had the worst year of my life. My sister had a baby and, when she called to tell our grandmother, our grandmother hung up on her. I called her back that afternoon to see how she was doing and she told me she was on the way to the hospital. She wanted me to call my aunt who lives close to her as I am halfway across the country. I couldn’t get a hold of my aunt and did not know who had taken my grandmother to the hospital. That same day I purchased one of those medical alarms so she will always have one if she needs assistance and no one is around. Thankfully a friend took her to the hospital, but I did not know that. I was absolutely terrified.
