The battle is in the fact that in order to excel professionally, often times, some form of higher education is required. Whether it is a degree, certificate, or just a few classes that need to be taken, the need is always there. However, parents usually look at the bills, and do not see any extra money to allot towards their educational costs required to advance professionally. It’s not easy to stretch the budget to cover things like higher education when as a parent and spouse you are battling every day to simply keep food on the table in the bills paid.
