Educated people get paid more!
The simple fact is that in society, highly educated people are not only treated with a great deal of respect, they are aggressively sought after in the job market, and handed the highest paying jobs!
With the financial aid being offered today, just about any person in the United States of America can persue their education easily. As a matter of fact, many people are applying for financial aid, and coming out of school with no student loans or debt that they have to repay!
That means that you can get that degree for free, and be worth more money to employers because of it!
