Mountain bikes are some of my favorite kinds of bikes. Not only because of the durability that they give the rider. But because of the way that they can handle the elements of riding on a path. I have even found that they handle the street stuff pretty good. I am not saying that if you are looking for a street bike to look at a mountain bike. However, I am thinking that when choosing mens bikes it’s good to know what you are going to be using the bike for. Otherwise you could be out of luck when you go to use it.
My uncle is a great cyclist. He doesn’t drive a car because of his poor eyesight so he’s been riding bikes most of his life. He needs his bike to get around and also to carry things back from the shops. His preference is for a mountain bike and he claims it to be much more adaptable and versatile than the standard street racing bike.
I’ve used my brothers mountain bike a few times but I’m not really a fan. I much prefer my street bike as it is easier to ride and much lighter to carry when you leave the road.
I’ve got both a mountain bike and a street bike. If I go for a long journey on the roads my street bike is more comfortable. It’s lighter and doesn’t need so much energy when going up hills. I use my mountain bike if I’m going out for short trips or going shopping. I’ve got a basket on the front of my mountain bike making it much better for shopping.
I had a racing street bike for years but when I needed a new bike I’ve bought a mountain bike. I find it much more practical as a road bike and also a bike you can take on rougher ground. There’s a forest and park near where I live and it’s great to take the bike through the paths in the forest. My road bike wasn’t much use in the forests.
I’m a senior and have chosen a mountain bike as my preferred bike for street cycling. I like the upright position of the handlebars better than the drooped look of the street bike. The wheels and tires are much stronger so I won’t have to change them too often. And the seat is much more comfortable with it’s gel filling and wider profile. I love it!
It’s so easy to buy anything online now. I bought a mountain bike for my son online for his birthday. He loves it. The price was very cheap and I’ve got the guarantee that if anything goes wrong or if it wasn’t what I wanted I could always send it back.
I bought a mountain bike online from Amazon and it’s great. You can’t see a lot of the bike when you buy online, but the price is usually much better than you can get from the local store for an equivalent bike.
Buying a mountain bike is a great choice if you don’t intend to specialise in any form of organised cycling. Mountain bikes have the rugged, strong look that always give you confidence that when you buy one you are buying a product that will have a long life. Even the tires give you the impression they will last forever. You’d need to do thousands of miles to come even near to wearing them out.
