We are thinking that if we could find a Caterpillar D9 Bulldozer for our farm, that it would be a good choice for cleaning the bigger corrals and build roads and terraces as needed. We will need to get the Caterpillar bulldozer at a good price and we really don’t want to have to rebuild it right away if we don’t have to. I’ve been driving my pickup for about 20 years and have never really thought of attaching any type of cover to the truck bed. It kind of dawned on me the other day that after 20 years, it was about time. So I spent a pleasant few hours on the Internet, starting with a Google search for a fiberglass tonneau cover, and was pretty well amazed at what was returned. They selected the model, one of those high top glass sided models, and hunted down a local business that specialized in truck bed caps. It didn’t really cost a lot, I’m wondering why it didn’t do this years ago

Shortly after my husband and I bought an old house on six acres, the utility company repairmen showed up at our door. They had recommended that we hire someone to bury the electrical lines underground. They informed us that there had been problems with the electrical poles in this area in the past. My husband has a co-worker who has two used Backhoes – Bradco brand that are for sale. He is hopeful that they have not sold yet. His co-worker might be willing to come over with his equipment including the poi loader and dig out the trenches for the underground lines.

With the current economy, many people are rethinking the direction they should go regarding a secure and well-paying career.  Although there are actually more possibilities than most people think, one that is getting a lot of attention is working as an operator of heavy construction machinery.  The great thing about this type of job is that so many possibilities exist within this category.  In other words, each type of heavy construction machinery being worked would require the expertise of a different operator. For example, a bulldozer operator would not be able to operate a crane. Or a backhoe operator may not be experienced on a paver.

The best place that I have found tractor reports is online. I used to have a guy that I got them from at the local tractor supply store because he was really interested in antique tractors like the Oliver tractor and the Farmall tractor.  But now most of that stuff is moving online.  You can always go back and find some old information.  But I am the kind of farmer that wants to be on the up and coming stuff.  The different brands like John Deere and others all get reviewed in a completely unbiased way.  This is just great for the fact that it cuts my overall research down by 75% because I can trust them.
