When my husband lost his job last year we had to cut expenses. One of the first things we had to get rid of was our second car. Now that he’s working again, juggling the one car is difficult – especially if I want to get a job. A friend of mine suggested that I look into Work From Home Jobs. I’m starting a new business in my area, and there are many things I have to consider. First I needed to find the best place to rent so I could use it as my office. I didn’t want to work at home so I wanted a place big enough so I can have more people working with me. Finally I rented a big office very cheap, but the place needed some work. Specially there was a big problem, the place had many windows and the sun heated the pace a lot. It was a problem so we decided to check on central ac units prices and to my suprise find them more affordable than what I thought. So we call a contractor to install the central unit and now with that and some blackout blinds to stop the sun, the temperature it’s perfect, you can’t go wrong if you install central air condinitioners, to me it’s the best way to go if your office it’s not very small.

I drove over to my mom’s house up in Pasadena a couple of days ago to help her with her rose bushes. My mom has a bunch of rose bushes in her backyard and she needed my help in pruning them back. It only took me about an hour to do all of the trimming that was needed. We then took the time to talk a little bit about her business. At one point she told me she wanted me to look at some Embroidery Machine Designs. She wanted my technical input. She wanted me to pair her with the right machine.

While a wooden filing cabinet was the storage of choice for many years and complimented the office décor as a stand alone piece of furniture, it is now considered a relic from a bygone era when the office was considered a real show place.

My sister is starting a new business and we are needing to get the word out. Besides Facebook and Twitter, we are looking at putting out flyers. We are trying to come up with some brochure templates that we can alter so that they will really work well for her new business. We figure we will hand them out at the local school and then tack them up in grocery stores. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet and there is a lot of information available on design and software. There are a lot of sales going on right now and some even offer free shipping. Now that’s a good deal!
