My dad has been trying to watch his weight lately and asked for any input or advice from the family on good meal ideas that would help thin his waistline.  Two days ago we all took a few small pieces of paper and wrote an idea on each one.  Then we folded them up and put them inside a jar.  Each day he picks out three pieces of paper and plans out his meals for the next day.  If he likes the food after he tries it, he writes it down in his recipe book.  Last night he ate low fat Tofu Shirataki Noodles.  It is the first one he has written down in his book.

All moms know the difficulty of having a new baby in the home. One of the most difficult things is the lack of sleep for the first few months. Kids are truly different. My first child rarely wanted to be held and to get him to eat is always a fight, even at 4 years old. My second child does not want to let me go and will try almost any food. Even their sleeping habits are different. My first child started sleeping through the night at 6 months and my second child is almost two years old and still wakes in the middle of the night for food.

With so many sleepless nights it becomes truly difficult to function. Because of this coffee has become a staple in my home. At night baby needs to be fed and in the morning mom needs a strong cup of coffee. That is why steamed milk is pefect for mom and baby. I can use the steamer to steam baby milk and then in the morning to steam milk for my coffee. If you are having this problem try a stove top milk steamer it will save your day.

My husband and I are both in our forties and we are trying to become more conscious about our health.  I started a food diet and I was shocked at how badly I eat.  I was not getting nearly enough vitamins and I was not eating enough fruits or vegetables.  I saw an article about Juicers For Your Health and I decided to buy a Twin Gear Juicer.  I really love it and I am getting very creative about all of the juices that I am combining together to make an awesome drink.  I am having a lot of fun with this product.

I have become rather bored with growing flowers and this year I plan to do something completely different. I was watching a television program the other night about the dear old chili plant. I can honestly say that I did not realize what a versatile plant it was, and how many different varieties of the chili plant there are. This program stated that it is really quite a simple thing to do to grow the chili plant in pots either on the window sill or on the patio. As long as they are in a sheltered place they should do well. There are many different types of chili plant and I now have to decided which one it would be best to start with.
