At my place of work they have an annual award for the person that brings in the most revenue for the year. I’ve worked at this outfit (I’m in sales) for the last twenty years and have one what the call the “Summit” award for seven of those years. Each year we get a quite nice memento, a carved duck, usually in a swimming position soo they fit nicely on a mantlepiec or whatnot. They also have it engraved with the recipients name, done by some chap with one of those Computerized Engraving Machines. He manages to do a pretty nice job, and I know the fellow, he’s no rocket scientist, so they must be pretty east to operate.

I bought a new boat recently and decided to get a marine generator to put on it.  When I was looking at different marine generators, there were many to chose from.  I told the saleswoman exactly what size boat I have and what kind of generator I wanted.  She was able to help me pick out a good one.  Hopefully I do not ever have to use it, but I like knowing that there is something that I can count on should the power give out on my boat.  This is much better than having to call to another boat to take me back to the dock.

I don’t know what some people must be feeding their kids the last few years but where did all these tall kids come from? My son has a buddy that’s pushing 7′ and a lot of pals in the 6′6″ & up range. If you have any teenagers you’ll know how it’s so easy for them to “crash” at a friends parents house after a rough night of partying. Well, every weekend we have a basement full of assorted bodies in varying stages of sleeping off a hangover, but one lad is a very frequent “guest”, yes the 7′er. So often in fact we bought one of those Tall Bed Frames and purchased a custom built mattress just for him. We just hated to see the poor kid so uncomfortable all the time.

The other day I was in a department store in or city, and being the tub of lard that I am, was quickly fatiguing from chasing my wife around the aisles for hours. I happened to be in the womens wear section patiently waiting when a guy from the adjacent furniture section beckoned me over and invited me to rest my feet and have a sit in one of those Lift Chairs that are poular now. And man, I can see why they’re popular, that thing was so darn easy to get into, and even easier to get out of. They got me, Mum took a new bra home, I took a new Laz y Boy Electronic lift Chair home.

A while ago when I was rambling around on the internet and came accross a guy who for a small monthly fee taught you how to make small websites that focus on a specific niche, like thos one here: Stair Chair Lifts .It’s been kinda fun to be honest, but it does have a bit of a tedious side. You see you have to write all the content for the pages and you get what they call writers block after a while. Hence, to releive the old brain, every once on a while I’ll just sit down and scribe something, like this. Cool eh?

How do you go about getting the best grill advice that will help you to choose a grill or a grilling machine what is right for you and your needs.   Well, you can always spend time visiting different stores and shops that sell grills and talk to as many people that work in these shops as possible; however this can be very time consuming which isn’t ideal.  Perhaps the best option is to go and read reviews online that will help you to make up your mind about which options are best for you. I would encourage you to trust the reviews of the bigger sites more than the reviews of someone that has just thrown up a blog in two seconds who might not be trained or really know what he is talking about.

I have this neat hobby. You see, I make websites. Little websites. Each focuss on a specific niche such as Office Furniture, and they’re dead easy to build. Why so easy? Well, I subscribe to a “system” that offers a web based platform where you can throw all the peices of the website puzzle together, basically press a button or two, & voila, it produces a credible website.

I’m doing this for a couple of reasons, because I actually enjoy it, and because these little suckers actually make money if you follow the system. One of the enjoyable parts of doing this, is you meed other like minded people in other parts of the world who’re doing the same thing. I have a buddy in Sweden doing this, and I reckon these websites will make me enough money to go visit him, (and hey, maybe it’ll be tax deductible if we talk business!)

The other day, while shopping for new bed linens, I came across the neatest wall clock. I have never seen anything like this clock. It looked more like a piece of art than something you would use to tell time. I’ve never given much thought to Wall Clocks, but I was amazed at the selection this store carries. They have artistic clocks, plain clocks, small ones and large ones. My favorite was this clock where each number was a separate block, allowing you to arrange it on a wall however you like as long as the numbers are in the right place. It was so cool.
