I really like to go camping because I think it is one of the most enjoyable things in the whole world, especially when you go in the summer and the weather is really nice and warm. Enjoy the countryside. Remember though that it is a living working place of many animals and habitats. You must ensure that you respect your surroundings

Fire safety. As a responsible camper you must ensure that you adhere to safety in regards to any fire, as you can imagine in the height of summer a campsite has lots of fire hungry resources. Be vigilant when using your barbecues and gas stoves.

Dogs. Most campsites in the UK allow dogs to accompany their owners. If you ensure your dog is kept under control at all times. No fellow campers wish to hear your dog barking in the middle of the night at a shadow.

Litter. Never leave litter lying around; campsites come with waste facilities so use them. Ensure you pick up after you and leave things as you found it.

Respect your fellow campers. One of the main reasons people go camping is for peace and quiet, so they can get away from the city lifestyle. Try not to make unnecessary noise and be respectful of your neighbour.

One of the great things is cooking out in the open whether that is by means of a barbecue or a camping stove. But one of the issues us campers come across is how do we keep the food warm? It is not like at home where you can turn the oven down or reheat your stew in the microwave. At camp you either have to eat it one sitting or eat it cold. Or do you?

Electronic mosquito repellent is not a brand new technology but it has improved in the last year or so. I have used an electronic repellent unit and it worked very well for me. The key to the success of the units is to use it somewhere where the wind isn’t blowing and you aren’t moving very much. An electronic mosquito repellent is much more desirable than bug spray, because it doesn’t stink, it doesn’t wear off, and it is cheaper in the long run. I would recommend to anyone to try it for themselves. It worked very well for me!

I really am the outdoor type, and there is nothing I like better than to spend time in the open air, and particularly walking across open countryside to taking some really nice scenery. I also enjoy going camping on my own, and due to this fact I have bought a really inexpensive 1 Man Tent. Even though I did not spend a lot of money on it it really does do a great job, and even when the weather is fairly cold I can still use it and feel very comfortable indeed. I think the small tents are one of the best inventions ever and I could really recommend to anyone.

Every time I go camping with my friends and family, they are all in trailers and motor homes. Doesn’t anyone use plain old Tents any more? It’s not that I couldn’t buy one of those if I wanted to, but I just think that it’s not really camping if you bring your entire kitchen along. To get the full outdoor experience, you need pegs, waterproofing, sleeping bags, and a 10×10 dome. It’s so cheap, too– especially if you buy at a camping store online; you can get a vela for less than a hundred dollars. If you haven’t tried camping this way, you should. It’s a lot more fun.
